Discovery Channel's 'Shark Week' is deliciously awesome

Anyone who knows me knows how squeamish I am. I faint at the sight of blood. I also have a crippling fear of deep water due to too many viewings of "Jaws" as a small child. I'm terrified of sharks.
But Discovery Channel's "Shark Week" is AWESOME.
So this is my formal request to the Discovery Channel to do Shark Week more than once a year. So many nights there isn't anything on televison at 2 a.m. except, may his soul rest in peace, Billy Mays infomercials or reruns of "My Super Sweet Sixteen." Not during Shark Week. Nothing more satisfying after you get home from work than watching a Great White Shark feast upon a delicious, nutritious, calorie-filled dolphin. Yeah you heard me, Flipper. I enjoyed watching you become 4th meal for the ultimate predator, land or sea.
Maybe do it in February, too. When being at the beach is a wistful memory for most of us and we need a subtle reminder of what we're missing. When "Grey's Anatomy," "The Office," and "30 Rock" inevitably go into their late Winter marathon of re-runs. Seriously, what better way to spend a Valentine's Day than with a bottle of wine, a nice meal and watching people have their legs chewed through by the Tyranosaurus Rex of the deep blue sea.
Let's make this happen.
