A 90-second snippet of Adele's “Skyfall,” the theme song to the upcoming James Bond film of the same name, was posted online on Tuesday.

The clip, which has since been taken down, is a return to the classic Bond songs of yore, with Adele chasing the brassy ghost of Shirley Bassey's “Goldfinger” and “Diamonds are Forever.” You'll also John Barry's famous theme woven into the melody.

"There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song," Adele was quoted as saying, according to The Associated Press. "But I fell in love with the script. ... It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I've never done, which made it exciting."

The song was written by Adele and Paul Hepworth, who co-wrote her hit "Rolling in the Deep." It was recorded at London's famed Abbey Road Studios.

“Skyfall,” starring Daniel Craig in his third role as 007, arrives in theaters Oct. 26.

The song will be officially available on Adele's website on Friday, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the release of "Dr. No," the first Bond movie. The track was available for pre-order at iTunes starting Monday.
