Coachella 2014 lineup: OutKast, Muse, Arcade Fire headline
As expected, it's an ecletic mix of artists set to take the stage at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The lineup, revealed early Thursday on the festival's website, includes Lorde, Ellie Goulding, Pharell Williams, Fatboy Slim and about 100 more acts. Coachella will take place during two weekends, April 11-13 and 18-20 in Indio Valley, Calif.
OutKast will headline the Friday shows, which will also include performances by Zedd, Neko Case, Girl Talk and more. Muse is the big Saturday act, and will be joined by Queens of the Stone Age, MGMT and Kid Cudi, to name a few. Arcade Fire is the Sunday headliner, with Beck, Calvin Harris and Motorhead as some of the big names on the bill.
The festival, which began in 1999, attracts celebrities each year, with Katy Perry, the Jonas Brothers and Carmen Electra making appearances in 2013. More than 100,000 fans attend over the course of the two weekends, many of whom camp on the grounds and wear their bohemian-themed best. Tickets (which tend to sell out within minutes) go on sale at 7 a.m. EST Friday on coachella.com. Prices are $375 for general admission and $799 for VIP admission.
