Nathan Lane and Mike Nichols to attend Hamptons festival

Costume designer Ann Roth is the latest boldface name being touted as a guest at the Hamptons International Film Festival next month, along with actor Nathan Lane and director Mike Nichols.

Roth, who won an Oscar for her work on "The English Patient" and helped dress the casts of movies like “Hair," “The World According to Garp" and “Julie & Julia," will receive a lifetime achievement award Saturday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m. at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

The event, which is being presented by the festival and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will also be attended by Lane and Nichols, who worked with Roth on their 1996 hit, "The Birdcage."

The festival has yet to announce its full lineup yet, but news of celebrity guests has been trickling out. Richard Gere and Nate Parker, the stars of the new drama "Arbitrage," are scheduled to appear, and festival board member Alec Baldwin is set to conduct a live interview with Gere. Bella Heathcote ("Dark Shadows") and Dree Hemingway (daughter of  actress Mariel Hemingway) are also being feted as "Breakthrough Performers."
