You know you're a sucker for those "Before they were stars" stories, videos and photo galleries. We are all. That's how entertainment and celebrity gossip sites survive, at least on the days when Mel Gibson audio recordings aren't released.

And we here at Pet Rock love a phenomenal old school music video discovery of a now-famous person. (Right, Don Cheadle?)

Get a load of Sean "Puffy" Combs, aka Puff Daddy, aka P. Diddy, aka Diddy, rollng with Doug E. Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew in the 1989 music video "Summertime." That's the Puffster in the beginning of the video getting something out of the trunk of the car.

Diddy can be spotted several more times in the background. He's wearing a "Do The Right Thing" T-shirt.

Once again, props to the Pet Rockette for pointing it out on VH1 Soul, the best music video channel ever (Well, at least since MTV forgot about music videos).
