'Pretty Little Liars' recap: 'The Kahn Game' is quite a revealing one
OH-MY-GOD! Mr. Fitz is a dad. Ezra, a father. Let's just let that sink in for a second. I don't know about you, but I was definitely shocked by that little nugget.
At the same time though, looking back, the writers may have hinted to this in weeks past as Aria and Ezra sat on the couch watching a movie that talked about loving every part of a man, including his son. Never-the-less, it's still a bit surprising to hear it's true.
Speaking of Ezra, just throwing this out there now, his brother is CUTE. Yes, Wes, I think you should come back more often...even if it is to repo Ezra's cash.
Emily finally finds out about Maya's website and is, understandably, not happy about being lied to by her fellow liars. I don't know, I'm getting a bit suspicious about the whole Maya business. It seems like she was intertwined into the whole A-team mess after all.
Call it paranoia, but there's still something shady about Paige. She's lingered awkwardly in the storyline for too long, and it seems convenient that Emily's finally really paying her any mind. There's definitely more to that story line...guess we'll just have to wait to find out what it is.
Hats off to Caleb for finding a way to trick Hanna into telling him the truth. He really is much sharper than I think Hanna gives him credit for. Caleb 1, Hanna 0.
Caleb promises to help find “this” A, though it's not really clear what exactly that will entail. Be careful with that though buddy, A's already screwed with your mom and killed Maya, I wouldn't rock the boat too much.
It was actually kind of a nice change of pace to see Spencer move away from her psycho-obsessive A-hunt/Ali timeline. Instead she obsessed over something more in line with a normal high school senior's life: college.
Her panic about a missed admissions deadline turns into an opportunity to go to a party (where she can turn in her application to some random friend-of-a-friend who happens to work in admissions). This is both bizarre and thoroughly unbelievable, but we'll just look past that.
A few revelations about the stamps and Noel Kahn's lake house later, and the girls are playing a round of “truth” with Noel and Jenna.
Someone please remind me to never play this game with any enemies, because it is ruthless.
A snore of a bout between Aria and Noel is done and Jenna and Spencer are at it, claws out. Jenna is definitely not happy that the girls have the video from Ali's bedroom, but at the same time she is coyly tight-lipped about “that night.”
Spencer offers the video for information about the grave, but a call for time saves her from answering the question. Just like Spencer, I guess we're going to have to wait for that web to unravel itself.
This week's A-scene is one that scares me for the Liars: A really is moving in. It seems like A isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so the girls need to look for shelter.
Looking into next week: We need to know more about this Cece girl and why she's thrusting herself into the Liars lives. Also, what is the real deal with Paige, and where-oh-where are Mr. Fitz's baby momma and baby now? No doubt, they'll be paying a visit soon.
As always, only time will tell.
