According to a Fox news release, the special one-hour show, "The Simpson Guy," will be the Sept. 28, 2014, season premiere of "Family Guy."

Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak, best known for her role as Mel Gibson's daughter in the 2000 film "The Patriot" has died. She was 21.

Variety reports Bartusiak was found dead at her home in Texas, but a cause of death has not been determined.

Director Ron Howard has been tapped for the honor of making a fully authorized documentary on the world's most famous pop band, Deadline.com reports.
