A new version of "The Great Gatsby" is coming to theaters soon, but this one isn't set in the fictional Long Island town of West Egg.

It's about wealthy teenagers living in Great Neck, the very real town that helped inspire F. Scott Fitzgerald's famous novel. The film's director, Kevin Asch ("Holy Rollers") was raised there.

In "Affluenza," Ben Rosenfield (HBO's "Boardwalk Empire") plays...

Sundy Best plays at the Mercury Lounge in

Kris Bentley stood backstage at the Mercury Lounge on May 15 and compared his New York City show debut to “being thrown to the wolves.”

The comment was not an accusation toward the gathering crowd -- merely an audible twinge of nerves. Ironically, what he said just after confirmed he had nothing to worry about. He and his Sundy Best partner-in-crime, Nick Jamerson, just wanted to meet “different...

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, left,

Oh, Jimmy Fallon, you did it again. This time with twin Lucite drum sets. And Will Ferrell. And Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who many would argue is Ferrell's separated-at-birth brother. What could possibly be better?

The pair, donning identical outfits, which included weathered Kiss t-shirts and backward caps, trash talked a bit before Ferrell started off the "traditional drum-off"...

If the Leonardo DiCaprio film didn't convince you that "wolf" is an appropriate nickname for Jordan Belfort, this interview might.

Appearing on Australia's "60 Minutes," Belfort, the former stockbroker and real-life "Wolf of Wall Street" who swindled his clients out of more than $100 million from his firm in Lake Success, seems just as hot-tempered and volatile as DiCaprio depicted him.

It may not be recognized by the federal government or most workplaces, but Sunday marks "Star Wars" Day, a semi-official holiday celebrated by fans of George Lucas' popular science-fiction franchise.

Why May 4? Mostly, it makes for a good pun. The holiday's slogan is "May the Fourth Be With You," a nod to the famous phrase "May the Force be with you," from the original 1977 film.

Just how did she get them to make their first TV appearance in more than five years? No one knows. (Actually we kind of know: The twins, 27, were there to promote their new Nirvana fragrances, which recently...
