Call it a tragic tale of the tape.
A newly released recorded telephone conversation between Lindsay Lohan's parents, Dina and Michael Lohan, reveals Lindsay's mom telling her dad that their daughter was dating Heath Ledger at the time of his Jan. 22, 2008, death.

"She was dating Heath when he died," Dina Lohan says. "I don't know if you know that, but I know 'cause I would drop her off and they were friends - very, very close, OK?"
Ledger died at 28 from an accidental combination of prescription medications. He'd recently separated from his girlfriend, actress Michelle Williams, the mother of their daughter, Matilda, who's now 4.
In the recording, posted on RadarOnline.com, Dina Lohan blames her daughter's recent behavior on the Australian actor's death. "That -- her up," Dina Lohan said.
Lindsay's mom continues: "She cannot be alone. When she sleeps here, she sleeps with me. . . . She has fears from being little and what you did to us."
Dina Lohan was also worried about her daughter's relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson.
She thought Lindsay should leave Ronson but knew it wasn't an easy thing for her. "It's very easy for a rational person to say. But for an irrational person who has a problem with her DNA and alcohol . . . and every other thing she's got wrong with her."
