Don’t be fooled -- reporting from the pink carpet of the Victoria’s  Secret Fashion Show may sound cushy, but this pink puppy at the New  York State Armory in Manhattan had more security Thursday night than  Obama.

After promising my first-born and submitting to the cranial implant, I  was allowed through the doors to stand with a mob of reporters and  photogs and shout,  “Fergie, Fergie, Fergie!” but the songstress just glided by in a teeny  mini.

NY Rangers hockey goalie Henrik Lundqvist was on hand—ask him for a post-game wrap-up and you can’t shut him up. But on this carpet, he  seemed a little unsure.

What’s he think of host and Victoria’s Secret  Angel extraordinaire Heidi Klum? “She’s…pretty hot.”

No kidding.  Still, he looks cool in his — duh, Swedish — J. Lindeberg tux.

The bros who are the Kings of Leon — Caleb and Jared Followill — looked slick in black pants as skinny as their ties. Caleb’s gal Lily  Aldridge is strutting the runway here, so he has to behave. Jared?  “I’m looking for my future ex-wife.”

This thing purports to be a fashion show, but it’s more a babe-fest — yet one can’t discount the power of the Victoria’s Secret brand in the industry, and a coterie of fashion folk — photog Sante D’Orazio,  Patricia Field, “Project Runway’s” Christian Siriano — filtered through.

Gavin de Graw entertained the crowd with a discussion of his fave  Thanksgiving entrée—something called “turkey in a can,” which involves  digging a hole in the front yard, a galvanized metal garbage can and  no fear of fire. You can take the guy outta the woods ….

The Heidi, herself, strides through in post-partum perfection wearing a Roberto Cavalli black mini and church-steeple-high gray Louboutin pumps. “I’m kinda on a carb break,” she admitted, but said there’s no heavy dieting — just cardio and rolling round on a medicine ball. She reminded us she’s just a mom at heart — she’s got plans to make an 18-pound turkey for Thanksgiving, along with…uh…”the little red balls.”

Cranberry sauce never sounded so good.
