'The Hangover'

The weirdest thing about "The Hangover" is not the chicken, the tiger or the infant discovered in the spectacularly trashed Las Vegas hotel suite whose occupants have no memory of the night before. What's weird is that this summer yuk-fest, with its dude humor, celebrity cameos and a plot skimpier than an exotic dancer's wardrobe, manages to be funny, clever and - in brief glimmers - almost substantial.
