Comedians from the Hudson Valley

There must be something in the water that makes people in the Hudson Valley so funny.

Some realized they were funny while attending school in Westchester (Bobby Moynihan, Jordan Peele, Nick Kroll). One made a name for himself by launching his career in the county (Howard Stern). And still others, who have made millions by banking on laughter, have bought beautiful homes in some of the region's most affluent communities (David Letterman, Bill Murray, Rosie O'Donnell).

Here's a look at the comics who, at one point or another, have called Westchester and nearby communities home.
