'American Idol' tour sees Adam Lambert outshining Kris Allen

Adam Lambert may have lost to Kris Allen on "American Idol," but judging by the summer tour, the competition for the hearts of the fans (and critics) is still on.
All ten "American Idol" finalists rocked LI last night, and our music critic Glenn Gamboa writes: Sure, Kris Allen may have won the TV show back in May over Adam Lambert, but that doesn't mean he no longer has to prove himself.
And at Nassau Coliseum last night, the laid-back Allen showed he has a ways to go before he reaches his potential. ...
Lambert, on the other hand, is ready for stardom right now. He injected artistry and even some sexiness into a traditionally straightforward show.
Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey also impressed our critic, with Anoop Desai surprisingly good -- and Lil Rounds getting a comparison to Jennifer Hudson.
