Will the 'American Idol' judges save Amber Holcomb?

To quote Keith Urban on last night’s “American Idol”: “We’ve got an Amber alert going on!” Four of our nine “Idol” psychics predict Amber Holcomb will end up having the lowest number of votes when tonight’s results are revealed on “Idol.” The good news is that all four expect the judges to save her.

Diva wannabe Amber took on Mariah Carey’s “Without You,” which got “mad props” from Randy Jackson, but sad props from Nicki Minaj (“I didn’t think it was good”). Her rendition of Barbra Streisand’s “What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?” got a standing O from the judges (although they stood so much last night we were beginning to think someone stuck pins on their chairs). Voters haven’t fully taken to Amber, who’s been in the bottom 2 or 3 several times, but the judges love her, so they’ll definitely throw her a lifeline by using the save.

Janelle Arthur may not be as lucky if she lands at the bottom of the heap as four other psychics expect. None of our prognosticators believe the judges will save her. Certainly not Urban, the only one of the four judges who was unmoved by her under-emotive performance of Vince Gill’s “When I Call Your Name.” Then after singing Dolly Parton’s “Dumb Blonde,” clearly not a smart song choice, Minaj remarked that her “little marshmallow” was in danger of going home tonight. In fact, Minaj did everything but whip the boarding pass for Janelle's plane trip home out of the ample décolletage of her form-fitting flame-red dress.

And despite a shout-out to her hometown of Boston before performing The Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand by You,” one psychic still predicts Angie Miller will be sent home tonight. She also performed “Halo,” but will her fate now be “Halo,” goodbye?

Here are all of our psychics’ picks for this week’s bottom 2:
