"American Idol" is about to send five out of ten women contestants on to the semifinals -- a lot of drama, since by my count seven of them deserved to move on.

Zoanette Johnson up first, she's going to make it easily -- and does. Melinda Ademi up next, she was one of my faves but ran up against too many other strong performers tonight; she gets cut.

Juliana Chaheye up next, I really hope they send her through; she's unique at 15. But they cut her; booo! Aubrey Cleland next, she'll make it through, and does.

Cristabel Clack next, she deserves to make it -- but does not. Candice Glover next, she'll make it even though I don't think she was one of the five best tonight; and she does.

Jett Hermano up next, she'll be cut and is. Breanna Steer steps forward, will be through easily and is.

One spot left, two country girls on stage. Rachel Hale or Janelle Arthur -- I think it'll be Hale, pretty easily. And it's Arthur moving on, in what I'd call highway robbery. Hale was memorable tonight, Arthur not very good.
