"American Idol" is cutting to its Season 12 final two tonight -- just hours after veteran judge Randy Jackson announced this is his last year.
Ryan Seacrest has some fun with this, stopping in front of Jackson's chair during his opening right after saying we'll find out tonight who's "leaving the show." He then quips, "how about a heads up?!" as Jackson laughs.

According to a new report on The Wrap, an individual with knowledge of Fox’s plans said all four judges - Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban - and producer Nigel Lithgoe will not have their contracts renewed for season 13 of “American Idol.”
Fox feels that the show has lost its core audience, and they want it back.

Kree Harrison heads home to Texas next on "American Idol." Her parents both died when she was in her teens; so it's "bittersweet" as her sister says while they visit her old house where she grew up.
