While this week’s “American Idol” themes have not been confirmed by Fox, rumor has it that the Top 5, Janelle Arthur, Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb and Angie Miller, will be challenged on Wednesday, April 17, with songs of divas and songs from the year you were born.

This is the first time in “Idol” history that there has been a female Top 5 -- in fact, it’s the first time that the Top 5 is the same gender.

Season 12's winner will be the first female to take the crown since Jordin Sparks in Season 6.
