I post this merely as a public service and reminder that the unlikeliest of people have become famous for the unlikeliest of reasons during the reality TV era (which began about a decade ago): Bethenny Frankel has quit "The Real Housewives of New York."  She tells Us Magazine that "last season was...scary" - apparently in reference to her jousts with Jill Zarin, and that enough is enough. She will not be wanting for attention - her other reality show, "Bethenny getting Married?" remains. Frankel is a real character - sort of a sharp-tongued rabble-rouser who's parlayed her reality TV fame into a number of books that tell readers how to stay skinny. And so it goes...
