'American Idol' could take a page from its Taiwanese version, where Lin Yu Chun's version of "I Will Always Love You" caused a sensation on the show and is now burning up the YouTube charts -- just like Susan Boyle.

Like Boyle, Lin -- or, as witty coworker Mark D. refers to him, 'Clay Asian,' -- has a surprisingly good voice. His vocal is a joy to listen to, especially considering his native tongue is Chinese and he's singing in English. But more important, he really seems to be feeling the song (even if it looks a bit comical at times).

Check out the video, below. Here's hoping we see something as all-out passionate on our "American Idol" in the next few weeks.

Aside from Siobhan Magnus and Lee Dewyze (and last night Katie Stevens) the other competitors haven't really gone for broke like this.
