What does America think of Miley Cyrus?
From obscene lyrics to questionable clothing choices, the public's opinion of the singer has completely changed since her "Hannah Montana" days. So Miley went undercover during Thursday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to find out.
With a short black wig, glasses, a ruffled white blouse and gray blazer, Miley transformed into "Janet," an "I Witness News" reporter from Australia, and interviewed pedestrians on Hollywood Boulevard.
Unsurprisingly, almost all of the people who "Janet" spoke with came to the same conclusion about Miley: "She's missing something somewhere."
Only one person knew right away who "Janet" really was. The others were completely honest with their opinions of Miley.
"I think she's starving for attention and that's why she's doing it all crazy like that," one man said.
Miley kept up the act so well, she told him he took the words right out of her own mouth and later even pretended not to remember her own father's name. (That'd be Billy Ray Cyrus, by the way.)
For some, their dislike of Miley stemmed deeper than the singer's most recent antics.
"I just don't like her whole family," another person said.
But perhaps the biggest blow of all came from a passerby who seemed to not care about her at all.
"No, no problem. I just like Taylor Swift better," he said, continuing to tell "Janet" that he hasn't even heard any of Miley's songs.
Whether America likes her or not, Miley will still be hosting this year's MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday -- which means a night of outrageous outfits, performances and comments from the singer can be expected.
