Now you know what's new in TV drama and comedy this summer. (You did read our previous roundup, right?)

So here's a look at returning favorites primed to start anew during TV's suddenly busy summer season.

Tuesday's Newsday TV page tracks upcoming unscripted shows. Wednesday rounds up the best of the rest (movies, documentaries, etc.).

MONDAY NIGHT: Mistresses (ABC, 10 p.m.). Season 2 of the "slutty parade" (says series dialogue), with Alyssa Milano, Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes, Jes Macallan

MONDAY NIGHT: Longmire (A & E, 10 p.m.). Season 3: Robert Taylor's title sheriff aids imprisoned pal Lou Diamond Phillips.

JUNE 6: Orange Is the New Black (Netflix). Inmates flash back to their pasts as Season 2's 13 episodes start streaming.

JUNE 9: Major Crimes (TNT, 9 p.m.)

JUNE 10: Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family, 8 p.m.). Ezra knows who "A" is. But will he survive into Season 5?

JUNE 19: Rookie Blue (ABC, 9 p.m.). Cast adds for Season 5: Oliver Becker, Matthew Owen Murray.

JUNE 19: Defiance (Syfy, 8 p.m.). Linda Hamilton plays a murderous woman mysteriously freed from her mental institution. Other Season 2 newcomers: William Atherton, James Murray, Anna Hopkins.

JUNE 19: Rectify (Sundance, 9 p.m.)

JUNE 22: True Blood (HBO, 9 p.m.). Season 7 concludes the humans vs. vampires saga with a visit from FEMA -- and, of course, Sookie's choice (between Bill and Alcide, or . . . ?).

JUNE 22: Falling Skies (TNT, 10 p.m.). Season 4 vs. the aliens adds Scarlett Byrne, with Mira Sorvino guesting and Robert Sean Leonard returning.

JUNE 23: Teen Wolf (MTV, 10 p.m.). Kate Argent's resurrection haunts Season 4.

JUNE 24: Covert Affairs (USA, 10 p.m.)

JUNE 24: Sullivan & Son (TBS, 10 p.m.). Kunal Nayyar, Ken Jeong, Billy Gardell return in Season 3.

JUNE 25: Wilfred (FXX, 10 p.m.). Note new channel for fourth/final season with Elijah Wood and crude pet dog Jason Gann.

JUNE 29: Unforgettable (CBS, 10 p.m.)

JUNE 29: Last Tango in Halifax (PBS, 8 p.m.)

JUNE 30: Under the Dome (CBS, 10 p.m.). Stephen King not only pens the first script of Season 2, he makes a cameo appearance.
