Paige Miles says she likes to color using crayons and markers, makes her relaxed. Wearing a silver and black dress and singing "Walk Away," she seems totally comfortable.

I'm not crazy about the song itself, but she can definitely perform. Seems to be coasting a bit to me, holding on to the mike stand for dear life until the second half, when she really starts to connect more, and man, hits a great high note. She has a big smile and energy.

Randy wasn't in love with it, not sure about the choice, just wants to hear the voice, not all the words. Ellen loved it, thought it was fantastic, had fun. Kara says she could see her having a hit with the song, but thinks she missed the song's message (Kara wrote it), more anger, not so much smiling.

Simon doesn't think it was the right choice, strong voice but bad decisions -- live up to your potential and become the one to beat next week., he tells her.

Kara has really come into her own as a judge this season. Her comments have been spot-on and she's expressing some pretty complicated thoughts that I think on replay will really help the contestants. She might be my favorite judge at the moment, more thought-provoking than Simon.
