Ben Higgins, the most recent star of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” and his fiancée from the show, Lauren Bushnell, will star in a spinoff series on sister network Freeform.
Freeform announced Wednesday that “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After” will star the couple as they prepare for their wedding “while navigating the real world after the splendor of . . . exotic dates and fantasy suites has ended.” It will also feature Higgins exploring the possibility of becoming involved in politics and Bushnell trying to “establish her identity post-‘Bachelor.’ ” The series is scheduled to air in October.
Higgins proposed to flight attendant Bushnell on the Season 20 finale of ABC’s “The Bachelor” in March, with runner-up Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher going on to become the current star of “The Bachelorette.”StoryHiggins proposes to Bushnell on ‘Bachelor’ finaleStory‘The Bachelor’ star says he’s in love with 2 womenPhotosReality show couples
