Allison Hagendorf, Rob Thomas earn Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week

This edition of Tweets of the Week covers everything from a TV host, who's posting her new reel, to a Culinary Institute of America grad, who's questioning what's real.
Because the following embedded tweets, links and videos involve HTML coding, this feature is best viewed with a Web browser. If you missed any of Newsday Westchester's previous Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week installments, click here.
In third place is New City native Allison Hagendorf, who just finished editing her new TV hosting reel.

In addition to showing off new clips from her 2012 gigs hosting "The Next: Fame is at Your Doorstep" and her New Year's Eve special in Times Square, she was savvy enough to include a screengrab of my Newsday profile about her at the 3:19 mark. You win this round, Hagendorf!
Taking the two-spot this week is Bedford's Rob Thomas, who, when he wasn't busy dining in Thornwood, was one of the few defending Lance Armstrong this week.

I'm with Thomas on this one. I can't get too upset with a guy who's raised so much awareness and millions of dollars for cancer research. Also, quite frankly, I like the idea of an out-of-it Thomas stumbling over furniture in search of a red and yellow Big Wheel.
This week's top tweet belongs to Richard Blais, who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. In a week when we learned that Mante Te'o was somehow involved in a hoax involving a fake girlfriend, the "Top Chef: All Stars" champ fessed up, admitting he, too, once fell for a "catfish"-like scenario that didn't involve seafood prep.

I can't be the only one wondering exactly what happened here. I'm hoping fellow Culinary Institute alum Anthony Bourdain is somehow involved.
