Bernie Williams, 'Sopranos' stars to appear at Irvington benefit
Former New York Yankees outfielder Bernie Williams will join actors Vincent Pastore and Tony Darrow of "The Sopranos" at a Nov. 30 concert at the Irvington Town Hall Theater to raise money for wounded veterans.
An Armonk resident and Latin Grammy-nominated guitarist, Williams is among 13 Westchester County-based acts slated to perform at the Westchester All Stars' Christmas for Wounded Veterans. Vaneese Thomas, Jon Cobert, Tom Dudley Blues Buddha, Stolen Moments, Bill Edwards, Buried In Blue, Duchess Di and Dave Keyes, Scott and Mia Staton, Johnny Feds and Da Bluez Boyz, Gary Adamson, Chuck St. Troy and Kristen Capolino are also scheduled to play at the benefit.
Pastore also has local connections: He grew up in New Rochelle, and attended Blessed Sacrament and New Rochelle high schools.
Proceeds from the event will benefit wounded veterans organizations, including the Gary Sinise Foundation, VA Adaptive Sports and the VA Medical Center in Montrose.
Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are $25, $30 and $50. For ticket information, contact the Irvington Town Hall Theater (85 Main St., Irvington, 914-591-6602, www.irvingtontheater.com). For more info about the fundraiser, visit www.westchesterallstarschristmas.com.
