Bonefish Grill opens at Westchester's Ridge Hill
Seafood lovers, get ready! Another restaurant is joining Yard House, Lefteris Gyro and Havana Central at Westchester’s Ridge Hill shopping complex. Bonefish Grill, a nationwide chain specializing in market-fresh fish, will open its doors at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18.
Dennis Sarlo, a managing partner at the new Yonkers restaurant, said his favorite dishes include bang bang shrimp, an appetizer of crispy shrimp topped with a creamy, spicy sauce, and the Chilean sea bass entree, which is cooked over an oak-burning wood grill and topped with sauteed spinach, jumbo lump crab and a lime tomato garlic sauce.
With a capacity of 210 and a 18-seat bar with community tables and a lively atmosphere, Bonefish Grill will cater to everyone from singles out for the night to families dining with children. “We want to be the neighborhood restaurant,” Sarlo said.
The restaurant will feature food and drink specials during happy hour from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. In warm weather, an outdoor patio will be open for al fresco dining.
There are about 170 locations of Bonefish Grill nationwide, with another local restaurant in Poughkeepsie. The Yonkers restaurant is at 26 Market St. in Westchester’s Ridge Hill; 914-965-2457; www.bonefishgrill.com. Starting Monday, it will be open from 4 to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4-11:30 p.m. Friday, 3-11:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
