Liam Neeson back in action in 'Taken 2'

Did you know it’s “Neeson Season”?

A new viral video (posted below) shows that Liam Neeson has made a career out of taking down villains and kicking butt. The clip, called “Liam Neeson: The Musical,” makes the claim that it's always "Neeson Season" due to hit films like “The Grey,” “Batman Begins” and the 2008 action blockbuster "Taken."

With “Taken 2” premiering Friday, Neeson, who owns a home in Millbrook, has been making the publicity rounds, most notably on Monday’s episode of “Ellen.” The actor good-naturedly allowed himself to be placed in a dunk tank wearing only pink underwear to raise money for breast cancer charities.

It was a rare light-hearted moment for Neeson, whom the public is used to seeing in takedown mode. Although the original "Taken" film saw his character, former CIA operative Bryan Mills, seeking to save his kidnapped daughter, this time out his ex-wife is taken hostage in response to events that occurred in the first film. Once again, Neeson’s character must use his lethal CIA training to rescue his loved ones.
