Taylor Swift buys Cape Cod home near Conor Kennedy's family

Could a mansion in Bedford be far behind? Reports are swirling that Taylor Swift just bought a Cape Cod home that's conveniently close to the family of her new boyfriend, Conor Kennedy.

The two have been spotted on dates in Hyannis Port, Mass., where, according to multiple reports, the country star reportedly purchased a house, right across the street from Conor's grandmother, Ethel, for just under $5 million. Swift's publicist did not immediately return a call for comment.

The seven-bedroom house in question overlooks Nantucket Sound, perfect for long walks on the beach, if you find that sort of thing romantic.

This news follows more regional activity for the young power couple that's been nicknamed Caylor. Last month, the couple noshed at Marcella's Pizza in downtown Mount Kisco. Subsequent reports had both introducing each other to their families. If Conor is feeling optimistic about how that went, maybe he'll return to Mount Kisco to do what Chelsea Clinton did — get a wedding cake at La Tulipe in Mount Kisco. But perhaps we're getting ahead of ourselves.

In the meantime, Taylor Swift will be chatting tonight with international fans during a YouTube webcast. We doubt she'll mention her new digs, but you never know.
