Harriman’s Jermaine Paul, season two winner of “The Voice,” will perform at The Unity Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  event in Spring Valley on Monday.

Bedford's Collin McLoughlin has been eliminated from "The Voice." After the singer was paired up with 16-year-old Michaela Paige, Blake Shelton, their celebrity coach, chose her over McLoughlin.

It's a good month for music in the Hudson Valley, with two local musicians releasing No. 1 albums in the past two weeks.

Matchbox Twenty’s new album, “North,” released Sept. 4, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart last week. Fronted by Bedford resident Rob Thomas, the pop-rock band's new album has sold 123,000 units so far and spawned the Top 40 hit, "She’s So Mean."
