"The Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels has tweeted that she was used by the show's producers as an excuse to bring back eliminated contestant Ruben Studdard. Michaels had given her team caffeine pills, which she said on Tuesday's broadcast was safer than "unlimited amounts of coffee."

Producers said this violated the show's rules, and allowed former "American Idol" winner Studdard back onto the rival team.

"You're spot on," Michaels tweeted to a fan who posted, "She was used by the show for a reason to bring a famous contestant back."
