Local stars receive Emmy nods
YONKERS - Several stars hailing from the Hudson Valley area will be competing for Prime Time Emmy awards come September. Northern Westchester resident Glen Close received an Emmy nod for her performance as Patty Hewes on the show 'Damages'. She will be facing off with Spring Valley native Julianna Margulies for her role on 'The Good Wife'. Stars who also have been nominated are Jimmy Fallon, Edie Falco, Steve Buscemi and Max Greenfield. All of these actors and actresses have local connections.
