Super Bowl runs away with Nielsen ratings

To no one's surprise, Super Bowl XLVII was the most-watched program for the week ending Sunday (and No. 3 of all time), according to Nielsen. (What is surprising is that Nielsen is counting the Super Bowl blackout as a separate program.) The 10 most-watched programs, ranked by millions of viewers.

1. Super Bowl, CBS, 108.7 million

2. Super Bowl blackout, CBS, 106.6

3. Super Bowl postgame, CBS, 63.3

4. "NCIS," CBS, 22.1

5. "The Big Bang Theory," CBS, 17.8

6. "NCIS: Los Angeles," CBS, 17.3

7. "American Idol" Wednesday, Fox, 15.8

8. "Person of Interest," CBS, 15.7

9. "American Idol" Thursday, Fox, 13.8

10. "Two and a Half Men," CBS, 13.7
