'Jersey Shore' gets 6th season with Snooki pregnant

What a surprise: "Jersey Shore," second highest rated-viewed show on cable, just got a sixth season pickup. Here's the announcement:
MTV gets ready for fist pumps and baby bumps, with the announcement of a sixth season of “Jersey Shore.” Production is set to begin Summer 2012 in Seaside Heights, N.J.
America’s favorite housemates will all return to their home-away-from-home, and the house dynamic is headed into unchartered territory… as their lives outside the “Shore” take off in exciting new directions.
While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same.
Now, to deconstruct:
"Baby bumps." Obviously referring to Snooki and unborn child and not some type of rash.
"The summer of 2012." Production date means MTV didn't even hiccup with the start date. As with seasons two and four, season six will indeed have a summer production cycle.
"While things will definitely be a little different this time." This may suggest Snooki will not be pounding favorite drink "Scooby Snacks" (coconut rum, creme de bananes, melon liqueur, pineapple juice and whipped cream) or getting arrested.
"Trademark hilarity." Means everyone else will be drinking.
"Family dysfunction." Means someone -- if not everyone -- will be hating on Mike, or hating on someone, or everyone will be hating on each other.
"Will remain the same." Means we've seen all of this before, like five times before, so don't be too surprised.
The fifth season wrapped last week, and "Shore" numbers are not what they once were; in fact, "Pawn Stars" is now cable's highest-rated unscripted. "Shore" is receding...
