Larry Hagman, one of the great villains -- and great leading love interests -- of the small screen is gone, and in honor of to his glorious versatility (for Hagman was, foremost, a wonderfully funny actor as well), a video tribute. A deeper appreciation to come later.

All of these are self-explanatory to Hagman fans, but they do offer one obvious perspective -- that he's been a large part of all our lives for many many years.

Let's begin with a couple of full episodes of  "I Dream of Jeannie" -- a show very much of its time, needless to say, but one that launched Hagman into space, as it were. The last few are recollections from the man himself.

And of course you DID know that "Knots Landing" was a "Dallas" spinoff.

Meanwhile, what about "Dallas."
