'Princesses Long Island' still no hit

"Princesses: Long Island" sank a bit further Sunday night, and far be it for me to make any predictions or judgements here, but I do think these numbers are going in the wrong direction...

 780,000 viewers...

  Yes, that's Sunday's number, and just to take a glass-half-full approach here: Hey! Seven-hundred and eighty thousand is a lot of people, people.

 To take the glass half empty approach: It's bupkis.

  The show dropped about one hundred thousand from the week before, and that bodes ill. But who knows.  In fact, "True Blood" arrived Sunday at nine, and that would tend to have a dampening effect on competition. (Although "Blood" - at 4.5 million - actually began quietly too.)  

 Meanwhile, this interesting sidenote: "Long Island Medium," which also airs Sundays at 9 (on TLC), was seen by 1.82 million viewers. The TV battle of Long Island has been decided...
