'Today' beats 'Good Morning America' in viewers
Remember last week's titanic battle between "Today" and "Good Morning America" -- in which former vice presidential candiates and long-running morning show hosts were enlisted in an all-out morning war to topple one or the other or do something?!
Say what? You don't remember? That's OK. Here's the bottom line and you'll never have to remember again: Someone won and someone lost, and the final count is in: "Today" won, by 187,000 votes, er viewers, over "GMA." That was 5.109 million viewers. That makes 852 straight weeks for "Today," which badly wanted not to stop at 851. For "GMA," there's always this week.
