"V:" The end, for now
Hey, before you watch (or don't watch - it's a free country) Donny O win "Dancing with the Stars," check out "V" at 8.
This is the very last episode until probably March; imagine: All that hype and now it's gone. It was four episodes and out, and I suspect ABC was borrowing a page or two from Fox's "Glee" playbook, which was - get some good press and then shelve it during December when viewing patterns are so funky and January when "American Idol" makes life miserable for everyone but Fox.
It'll come back eventually as a companion to "Lost," which sounds like a plan.
But here's the thing: Tonight is actually good.
Not great.
But good.
I actually thought the premiere was terrifically silly and pretentious, but this series has settled into a nice sci-fi groove. There's some decent cliff-hangers tonight - at least three by my count - and all the main characters have developed nicely.
And I wanna go in a ride in the spaceship.
