Neil Patrick Harris -- who will be hosting the Emmys on CBS in a couple of weeks (Sept. 22) and needs no introduction -- explains in this clip to viewers why ... a) The Emmys need magic; b) why he's won for roles that took him two minutes to work on (but nothing for "How I Met Your Mother" or "Doogie Howser" -- is that even possible?
