"American Horror Story: Coven" is of real interest these days for a number of reasons including this - the series' second season is up for a total of 17 Emmys (some of which were given out last week). But "Coven," launching Oct. 9 on FX, looks better than "Asylum," if all these clips are any indication. The latest: (Newsday app readers please watch clips at newsday.com/tvzone):
FX has been shipping out little snippets of clips of "American Horror Story: Coven" — the promotional equivalent of lighting matches in say an empty and very dark Giants Stadium at midnight ... (Here's an example, but watch the clip below first ...)
But it's finally provided a flashlight. This new clip, just released, is a quantum advance, best I can tell, in terms of giving you, the fan, a glimpse of what the new season will look like. And if looks could kill, this goes about doing just that.
