'Jersey Shore' back Oct. 4 (and is this the last?)
"Jersey Shore's” sixth season begins Oct. 4, accompanied by what must now become the most obvious question: Will the sixth be the last? MTV made a handful of announcements this morning at the TV critics tour, which wraps in a few hours.
Will the “Shore” return for seven? You can bet that question won't be answered today, but at least ”Snooki and JWoww” will be back for a second season (that was also announced).
"'Jersdays' are back with the premiere of season six of 'Jersey Shore' on Thursday, October 4 at 10 p.m.," the network wrote in a news release
Now, you may ask: Why end “Jersey Shore” at 6? Because ..."Snooki” likely won't be back ... ratings are getting soggy ... the rest of the cast is chaffing for an exit ... six seasons is enough and, in point of fact, too many ... there's absolutely nothing new left to do ... it's gotten really old ... we've all moved on ... the cast has moved on or wants to ... popular culture has pretty much gone on to The Next Thing, whatever that is.
(And do check out the clip of “The Inbetweeners.” New show has some buzz.)
