"The Honeymooners," indisputably one of the great TV comedies and indisputably tied to the fortunes and personality and image of WPIX/11 for many years, will return to Ch. 11 this fall as a regularly scheduled series. Now, now: Don't get too excited. It will air late night on Saturday and Sunday (the series has been buried early Monday mornings beginning about four or so years ago) as opposed to every weeknight at the same time and same place as was the case so very long ago. Yes, "Mooners"  was as much a part of PIX in the Good Old Days as the Yankees were. "Mooners" - born in 1955, and (infamously) cancelled after 39 episodes - has been at PIX since 1976, while the New Year's eve marathons started in '96.

The details:  Beginning Saturday, Sept. 13; will air Saturday and Sundays at 11 and 11:30 p.m. respectively.

Awaiting further details from PIX, but my assumption is that these are the Classic 39 and not that "Lost" episodes collection...
