Whitney Houston, who dominated pop music in the '80s and '90s with her powerful voice and high-fashion looks before a public struggle with drugs and a rocky marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died unexpectedly Feb. 11, 2012 in Beverly Hills, Calif. She was 48.
