YONKERS - Former Yonkers Councilwoman Sandy Annabi is set to report to a federal prison on Monday after a judge denied her request to be released on bail while the case is appealed.

Annabi, 42, was sentenced to six years behind bars after she was convicted last year of selling her vote on two development projects in Yonkers, including Ridge Hill. A request to delay her surrender date was denied on Wednesday.

Annabi will report to a federal prison for women in Danbury, Conn. on Monday morning.
