HOT IN POTS
Pots are getting a lot of attention. Gone are the terra-cotta pots and woven basket planters with inserts. "We're seeing a lot of shiny black and white pots," says April Schnitzer, greenhouse manager and green goods buyer at Martin Viette Nurseries in East Norwich. Bright yellow, orange, pink and apple green in glazed ceramic and porcelain are in demand, and people don't seem concerned about matching them to furnishings, she says. "Chinese pottery is still in, but color is big."
