Fall 2008 Fashion Week
Baby Phat lives large with Kimora Lee Simmons' new Fall looks
Kimora Lee Simmons apparently wants gals to channel their inner flapper, and it might be a lot of fun to try.
At the Baby Phat fashion show Friday night, smokey-eyed, ruby-lipped models roared down the runway in fringy flapper dresses (instead of string fringe, these were ropes of pearls) or tiny feather miniskirts, pinstriped sailor pants with diamond-studded buttons, and lacy little frocks with loads of rhinestone embellishment.
Speaking of which, almost every item in the show was hit with Kimora's magic bling wand -- in some form or another even jeans which had individual pearls attached to the entire leg.
There were short shorts worn over shiny tights or better yet, with fishnet stockings attached by garters, tuxedo jackets revealing bras so cabaret -- and long jersey gowns which models accessorized with cigarette holders.
You've got to hand it Simmons she knows how to live large and speaking of that, some of her models toted great, big leather bags.
