Gary Dymski

Bio

Gary Dymski's newspaper career spans more than 25 years and four states.

He has twice won awards for his sports writing (1987 and 1989) and recently his story on the restoration of a North Fork mansion was selected third place, best features, by the Press Club of Long Island.

Gary initiated the role of home improvement columnist and frequently appears on television and radio.

His hobbies include coaching ice hockey, reading and movies -- especially Westerns. He resides in Lake Grove with his wife and four of their five children.
