Long Beach has bid farewell, adieu, adios and addio to Duke Falcon’s Global Grill, a place that’s been a fixture on East Park Avenue since 1997.

Buoy One on Main Street in Huntington has closed. The offshoot of a Riverhead restaurant, which also has a Westhampton branch, opened last spring but didn't quite make it to a year.

Christiano’s in Syosset, the pasta-parm house long debated to have been the inspiration for Billy Joel’s “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant,” finally closed on Monday. The Singh Hospitality Group announced its plans to shutter and reinvent the "bottle of red, bottle of white" restaurant last year, then gave it a reprieve in August.

GyroLIcious, a Greek restaurant in East Meadow, has closed.

Fuego Picante, a Mexican barbecue restaurant on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, is now closed. Having gone through a recent change in chef and menu, it was the most recent in a series of Singh Hospitality Group-owned dining spots to founder in the same space. Its predecessors were Kansas City Smokehouse, RUB BBQ, Long Fin, BeSi, Ruby's Famous BBQ and Louis & Marxx.

Marra’s, an Italian restaurant on School Street in Glen Cove, has closed.
The colorful bi-level place first opened in 2000 and was known for its puffy-crusted brick oven pizzas, pastas, salads and Italian-style sandwiches.
An outdoor dining patio was usually crowded on summer nights.
Currently, the site is unoccupied, a “for lease” sign posted on its window.

Syosset has bid addio to Bronx Pizza Company, situated on a stretch of industrial area along Robbins Lane, just off the Long Island Expressway.
The pizzeria-pub opened in 2012 and was owned by the Zilla family, which has culinary roots in the Bronx’s Arthur Avenue. In addition to pizza, it also featured house-baked bread, hand-cut fries and, initially, house-smoked barbecue.

The restaurant scene in Bethpage is rife with change. Now, Watawa Sushi & Lounge has opened in the former digs of Sumou, which lasted less than a year before closing. Prior to that, the space was occupied by Ozumo, another Japanese restaurant.
