WHITE PLAINS - A former girls basketball coach in Westchester pleaded not guilty this morning on charges he sexually assaulted pre-teen girls and videotaped the attacks.

Richard Dinizo, 58, of Cortlandt, was arraigned in White Plains County Court after being indicted by a grand jury last week. Dinizo is also facing federal charges.

Prosecutors say Dinizo molested three girls around the age of 10. He was arrested in March after police found pictures and videos of the alleged sex acts on computers that Dinizo had access to.

Authorities believe some of these sex acts happened at the Dinizo family home back in 2010.

Dinizo coached in the Westchester Basketball Association as well as area schools.
