Glimpses of the summer of 2012
The summer of 2012 has been sweaty and sun-splashed. As the season draws to its sultry close, Long Islanders will continue to do what they've done to survive this year's heat: surrender and submerge. We hit the beaches from Long Beach to Sunken Meadow State Park, from Robert Moses and Jones Beach to Crab Meadow, and dove right in.
