NEW ROCHELLE - Habitat for Humanity is celebrating 25 years of building homes in Westchester.

Dozens of people packed the Greentree Country Club in New Rochelle Thursday night for the organization's Spring into Action Gala. The event highlighted all of the work done by the organization over the years, and the work it will continue to do moving forward.

Jim Killoran, CEO of Habitat of Westchester, says the organization believes that people can live in simple, decent homes and the event is a thank you to everyone that has helped build safe, green condos in Westchester County.
